DAGLISH STREET

THE PINNACLE OF OLD MEETS NEW.

Retaining most of the original footprint of the home and as many character features as possible, we reconfigured the floor plan and restored this beautiful Wembley Californian bungalow to its former glory, while improving each area to suit modern day living.

We created three spacious bedrooms, a shared bathroom with underfloor heating for the children and a luxurious master bedroom featuring a walk-in robe and ensuite (again with underfloor heating) for the parents in the front part of the original home.

The original kitchen was relocated from what is now the entrance hallway, to the rear of the house, creating a large open plan living, dining and kitchen space, fully equipped with SMEG Dolce Stil Novo Ovens, Warming Trays, Induction Cooktop and Wine Fridge. Concealed behind the kitchen is a large scullery/laundry.

We replaced the original wall looking out onto the pool area with a large glass window, as well as large stackers leading to the newly added alfresco/outdoor kitchen and fully equipped entertaining area with an inbuilt Webber BBQ, Bar Fridge, Dishwasher overlooking the large, heated pool and spa.

A further guest bedroom and bathroom and office were included in the new floor plan.

The design/colour theme was kept uniform throughout, with the idea of bringing as much light as possible to each room and using warm white tones and matt finishes throughout, combining Cloudburst Caesarstone Concrete, Tassie Oak timber accents and brushed gold tapware and accessories to create a luxury feel.
