A modern facelift.

After building the new home next door, these clients approached us to undertake a renovation project on their home. 

As an older style, 3 bed character home, it was decided the new extension would be very modern, but a seamless blend of old and new with old jarrah floors meeting the new polished concrete flooring.

To add some much-needed space, we extended the home to include a large open plan living, dining and kitchen space, with WIP, new laundry and alfresco, as well an extra 2 bedrooms and bathroom.

Inside we went with strong feature looks thanks to the salt and pepper concrete flooring in the main living and black cabinetry in the kitchen. Timber shelving was added using benchtop offcuts, adding additional storage and a feature look.

The exterior was finished in white weatherboard cladding, which contrasts with the black window frames and timber decked alfresco.
