Space for a growing family.

With a fast-growing family, this Wembley character home required some much-needed additional space. As part of the project, a second storey addition was needed, together with an extension of the ground floor.

Being a classic Wembley character home, the clients wanted to ensure the new spaces kept the original character whilst adding a modern Scandi feel with as much natural light as possible. To achieve this, large windows were installed - including Velux's in the second storey roof - a neutral colour palette was selected, and Jarrah floorboards laid throughout.

The new second storey included a parents’ retreat complete with a large master bedroom, luxury ensuite, stylish walk-in robe, separate living area and storage room. The ground floor extension included a nursery, laundry, alfresco and handcrafted Jarrah staircase.

We completed the new look with landscaped gardens and the addition of a carport on the rear laneway with space for two cars and storage sheds.
